Syl Forest photo

As you may know, I am shifting gears from Parks to other interests this fall – yes, I am retiring. So to celebrate, and also just because it is time for a good shindig, Kim and I are hoping you can come to a wee party  at our place. Here are some details:

Where: 1096 Flemstrom Road, near Nicholson (south of Golden), BC – see map and directions:  Syl Forest – Map & Directions

Phone: 250-344-0444
When: Saturday September 14
Time: Mid-afternoon, until the stars come out, and possibly until they fade away again on Sunday

Venue: Pot Luck – we will have a BBQ and fire going, and will have some burgers, fries, and salad fixings. Anything you’d like to bring (appetizer, favourite carne, or sweets) would be most welcome We will have a KEG also, but feel free to BYO favourite beverage.

Accommodations: We have LOTS of room for tents and campers. There are also some nice places to stay nearby if you prefer.

Musical Instruments MOST welcome!

Please RSVP to this email forestaube@gmail.com to let us know if you can make it. That will aid greatly in knowing how big a keg and how many burgers to prepare.

Spread the word! All are welcome! And I hope to see you in September!
