Sundown Slim by Randy Nagel and Stewart MacDougall

Slim Haugen Managed  the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch from 1969 to 1982.  He was a well liked cowboy who was well respected by everyone.

I received this note from Randy Nagel today.  Randy says, “The sound track is different now than the original one anyway, so I’m sending you an update for the 100th anniversary.  The song was played live and in concert at Festival Place in Edmonton by my co-writer Stewart MacDougall and 4 other Ian Tyson alumni musicians… almost as good as it can get, except for having Ian there himself.”

This is a beautiful song.  Enjoy.

Here is the link on YouTube.
