This tiny book packs a lot of history between its covers.  Muriel Eskrick gives a detailed description of the road from Sundre to the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch as it was in 1960.  Muriel provides a vivid account of many of the landmarks and history of the pioneers that lived along the way and at the Brewster Ranch.  Much had changed but much remained the same.  It is a delightful little book for those interested in the history of the Ya Ha Tinda and area.  Muriel Eskrick helped establish the Sundre Round-Up weekly newspaper and the historical society for the Sundre area.  This book is out of print, however, a few copies may be found at used book stores or the Sundre Museum.
