FUND RAISING SILENT AUCTION RARE COLLECTOR’S ITEM
The Park Warden Service Alumni Society has received a donation from Ruth Quinn of an “Original 1937 Copper Vehicle Entry Pass”. Ruth says that this particular Tag was previously owned by the legendary Bill Bagley.
Vehicle entry into our National Parks began in the early 1900’s.
A metal Buffalo style vehicle pass was introduced in 1925, and used as a roadway National Park pass in the mountain Parks until 1940.
The original metal passes are popular with collectors and are considered rare to extremely rare and of significant value!
