Retiree Profile –
From Andy Anderson
To my old friends
I have lots to celebrate over the last few months. Just had my 85th birthday and Rob and Shawna made me a grandpa. They had twins in January – a boy and a girl. I thought I was going to miss out on that one.
I celebrated my 25 years of retirement and am still in good health; although I have minor lung, heart, and bladder problems that are normal with old age.
I am still driving my 25 yr old Mercedes 420, and trailering my golf cart to the course. I moved into a single family house in Parksville. B.C. It’s bigger then I need (2 bedrooms & 2 baths) but fairly new, easy to keep clean, and lots of space for my old pictures and keepsakes from those “good old days” in the Warden Service! It is a 5 minute drive to the golf course or downtown. “Yes”, I do have a guestroom. and do stop for a visit if you are travelling this way. My phone (250) 248 6350, or in the phone book as
A S Anderson on Vine Dr.
My best to you all and families!
Andy
Whew! Some of us tend to jump to conclusions, now, whenever we see there’s an ‘update’ on retirees. Glad to see that all’s well. Maybe start the next one with “Good News”, or “Still Golfing”, or something.
