Greetings Fellow Alumni:
So far, nearly 40 members of the PWSAS, from far and wide, have signed up to attend this year’s reunion at Salmon Arm. It promises to be a great time with a mix of returning and first-time participants.
This is a quick reminder to those who attended last year but have been procrastinating about signing up again this year. There are still plenty of good serviced and un-serviced campsites available at the Salmon Arm Elks Campground. As well, local indoor accommodation remains available, at a discounted rate, in the nearby Fairfield Hotel but must be reserved before August 04. For reservations, call them at (778) 489-0555 and identify yourself as part of the PWSAS group booking.
Our agenda includes an informal pizza social on the evening of Tuesday Sept 05, potluck supper on Wednesday Sept 06, a pancake breakfast on Thursday morning before departure, and lots of time for socializing and storytelling with friends in between.
The Salmon Arm Elks Campground is easily accessible, on the NE edge of Salmon Arm at 3690 – 30 th Street NE. It is located 2.2 km. due north of the junction of the Trans-Canada Highway & 30th Street NE (i.e., the intersection with Tim Horton’s and McDonalds).
We are looking forward to 3 days of friendship and making new connections among Warden alumni and their “not-so-silent partners”. Please bring photos or memorabilia you think will be of interest. Please pass this message on to other Alumni who may be interested.
