This 112 page photo enriched book will give the reader some of history of Waterton Lakes National Park followed by a description of the devastating fire of 2017 when the park and the townsite of Waterton experienced the Kenow Fire.  Business owner Carol Robbins gives a heartfelt personal account of the demands of the summer of 2017 and the events leading up to the town’s evacuation on September 8th. Residents and business owners, upon their return on September 21st, were faced with an incredible miracle – the town had been saved thanks to the tireless efforts of Parks Canada staff, EMS and Fire Fighters.  This book sells for $20.    Copies of the book are available at Welch’s Chocolate Shop, Waterton Park.  Proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Firefighters.  www.welchschocolateshop.weebly.com
