Business owner Carol Robbins gives a heartfelt personal account of the demands of the summer of 2017 and the events leading up to the town’s evacuation on September 8th. Residents and business owners, upon their return on September 21st, were faced with an incredible miracle – the town had been saved thanks to the tireless efforts of Parks Canada staff, EMS and Fire Fighters.
