2018 and 2019 Independent Publisher Book Awards Gold Medalist, George worked for more than three decades as a national park warden in Canada, including work in six national parks on both east and west coasts, the North and the Rocky Mountains. George continues to be passionate about parks and protected areas and this passion forms the backdrop for much of his writing.
