In the background of the picture you will note a white picket fence. This was build by Warden Ole Hermanrude to keep us kids in . The Sunshine road pavement now runs right though the fenced area. The house used to be a one bedroom, kitchen and main room cabin. Just behind Karen is the porch, behind it was the new kitchen and then the original cabin which ( according to my mom) was built by Jack Naylor who was a Banff warden for a while.
