Retired Alberta Game Warden Jim Mitchell’s career spanned 38 years with the Province of Alberta.  His postings were spread over a great deal of the Alberta landscape including the Sundre District.  During the years that Johnny and I were managing the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch, we could always count on Jim’s support and advice on the many wildlife issues that arose from time to time.  This book is written in Jim’s own words and well worth reading.  Jim has a gift for storytelling and his experiences as a Game Warden protecting wildlife and wildlife resources are extremely interesting and at times humorous.  What comes through is his unwavering dedication to his duty as a wildlife officer.          Available on Amazon in paperback or as an e-book.
