The book The Ya Ha Tinda; A Home Place, written by Kathy Calvert, due out in August, will tell many fascinating stories of the ranch, its many managers, horse trainers and park wardens who worked with all types of horses over the years. It truly is a unique and special place, rich with both horse and people stories that can be told and retold. The author will be doing a presentation at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies in Banff, September 7th at 7 pm at which time the book will be available. The book will also be available at the ceremony to be held at the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch on September 13th.
