C.P.A.W.S  has sent out word that the Conservatives are considering changes to the S.A.R.A. act. Through their website you can send an e-mail to the Honourable Peter Kent, Minister of the Envionment. Perhaps he is listening. His leader, the Honourable Stephen Harper, actually gave a press conference yesterday although he refused to answer questions. That could be a sign that he and his cabinet are starting to tune it to the publice that elected them.

If you are concerned about changes to this Act, please express them in the next few days. Most of us know some of the people who worked to get this Act enacted, the difficulties they had and the value this Act has nationally and internationally.
